What’s in a Name?

“Nuggets” comes from owner Megan B. Congleton' s childhood nickname—lovingly given by her family, Bill & Sarah Baker, and her identical twin sister, Gwynn Yocco. It’s a reminder that our work is personal: rooted in family, crafted with care, and made to last.

Meet the Owner: Megan B. Congleton

By day, Megan is a middle school language arts teacher who genuinely loves shaping minds and giving tomorrow’s leaders a strong foundation. That same heart for excellence and detail shows up in every stitch we produce.

Megan graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Art History. That training in composition, color, texture, and timeless design directly informs our embroidery—helping us choose the right thread pallets, refine lettering for clarity, and ensure that every logo lands with crisp , professional look. Art History meets modern craftsmanship: that’s our secret sauce!

Roots in Lowcountry

Originally from Estill, Megan later lived in Bluffton before finding her family’s forever home in Ridgeland. When she’s not in the classroom or studio, you’ll likely find her boating or fishing the Lowcountry waters, or spending time with friends and family.

Megan has been married to Sean Congleton for 11 years. Together they’re raising three wonderful kids: William Elsworth (“Worth”), Emma Baynes and Morgan Elizabeth (Megan’s beloved bonus daughter).
